Fall Into Fitness

We love our Accountability Group Challenges! These challenges are designed to keep movement, health and overall wellness a priority during times of the year where we often struggle. Creating a like-minded group of women to keep each other motivated is a great tool within one’s journey — that’s what this group is all about! And, as always, education so your journey is a continued success. 💛

Join us September 30th - November 25th for our 8-Week Fall Into Fitness Accountability Group!

🧡 8-Weeks of Professionally Designed Fitness Programming, accessible to all participants via Metanoia’s Fitness App
🧡 We will meet you where you’re at in your journey. Programming options include: Gym, At-Home, Fat Loss, Lean Muscle.

Restorative Yin Yoga

Hectic lives, active yoga, and intense workouts are all heating to the body (yang in nature) and are balanced by activities that are cooling to the body (yin in nature). Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga are considered yin in nature because they slow, cool, and lengthen the body.

This 90-minute class will start with Yin Yoga poses supported by props and move into full Restorative Yoga poses. While Yin Yoga can be challenging due to sensations created in the body, the use of props can soften or deepen the stretch experienced. The accompanying practice of breath work and surrender during poses can lead to release of stored emotions and cultivate inner peace while improving joint health and flexibility. Restorative Yoga poses are fully supported by props to allow and encourage the body to release mind-body tension. The result can be a deep sense of rest and relaxation and can lead to better management of stress.

Earth & May Day Celebration: Trash Clean-Up

We've adopted a Lee's Summit Street (a family-friend road so we can safely get our kiddos out!) to celebrate Earth Day this month!

Join us May 4th at 11:00 a.m. as we clean up a .8 mile stretch (near Hobby Lobby). Afterwards, we'll head over to the Fig Tree Cafe for a meal together, should you have time!

A large pillar of Metanoia is having a solid relationship with nature - come give her some love with us and instill positive lessons in our kiddos. Please RSVP via the link so we know how many Waivers and such we'll need from the city.

Discover what Reiki is and experience the blessing of collective healing.

In this class we will discuss the history of Reiki, how it works, what it is, how Energy Healer's use Reiki, and life force energy.
